I Think Pink 365 - Event Review

The Jamaican Star Online recently covered one of the most memorable, and positive events in the Washington DC/Maryland region. This was not your average night out at the club but an event held to raise awareness as well as funds for the study, cure and prevention of Breast Cancer; the month of October is regarded world wide as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event was dedicated to those who have been diagnosed with and those who have succumbed to breast cancer.

Crystal Clear Entertainment presented ‘I Think Pink 365’ held on October 12th 2014 with internationally recognized reggae performing artist I-Octane, who performed and touched the crowd on a personal level. Other performances by Ras Slick, Boog Wonderland and Rush Dem rocked the crowd.

According to the Jamaican Star Online Jamaican artist Ras Slick, based in Maryland and Virginia, lauded the organisers for what he said was more than a worthy cause. He said “I fully endorse this event, Breast Cancer is the most common form of Cancer and as artistes it’s our responsibility to not only entertain our fans but also help to keep them informed so I'm encouraging everyone to come out.”

The event was a success, as the lives of many breast cancer survivors were touched in a special way. International recognized reggae singer I-Octane welcomed a breast cancer survivor on stage and dedicated a moment to her as he sang one of his songs.
