New Single: Jahmal - Call Me

Ja'mal Lynn (aka: Clay Cowan), Born March 14, 1989 in Maryland, USA Jahmal's aspiration to become a singer at an early age was nurtured by family & friends who recognized his talent. He writes his own lyrics and has a natural ability for making beats. His musical career was mainly influenced by R&B singers R.Kelly, Tank & Genuine. He lists Bob Marley, Sanchez and I-Octane, among others, for his listening pleasure. His love for actually recording reggae music was realized after meeting producer Derrick Douglas (aka DougieFresh) of the Starz Of David Records Label, whom he auditioned for and right away he used that opportunity to break through into the Reggae Lovers Rock/ R&B genre. Coupled with his musical talent, Jahmal also excels as an athlete and currently still holds the county and regional records for the 55m and 200m after competing at school. He has developed a passion for the guitar, which he is now learning to play. Now after 2 years of studio work and completing an EP on the SOD label Jahmal's debut single ''Call Me" was recently released in August 2014 on the Sirius Riddim...and is now available on iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon & most digital media outlets..... His follow up single, 'Stranger' will be released in October while the EP is slated to be released in December of this year.
